how to apply for funding

The GPNC provides funding for projects that are of public benefit. These projects may encompass a wide range of activities and include, but are not limited to the arts, beautification, and community improvement. To learn more about Neighborhood Purposes Grants (NPGs), visit here. If you would like for GPNC to consider funding your project, follow the steps below.

  1. Download and complete the fillable NPG application here. Five business days prior to the next Grants and Funding Committee (GFC) meeting, email to grantsfunding@glassellparknc.org your completed application and your IRS determination letter (if you are a non-profit) or request on school letterhead (if a public school). Attach additional information, such as an expanded budget, if your information does not fit on the application. Please also submit a W-9 form and a business tax registration. The GFC will schedule your NPG application for consideration at a future GFC meeting.
  1. Attendance at the GFC meeting when your application is heard is required. You may request to make a presentation on your application at the GFC meeting. The GFC will make a recommendation on your application and deliver this recommendation at a future GPNC meeting. Attendance at the GPNC meeting is not required but may be helpful should any of the board members have questions.
  1. If your NPG is funded by the GPNC, promotional materials relating to your project should include the GPNC logo. The NPG applicant should also coordinate with the GPNC’s Outreach Committee and other committees as may be applicable.
  1. Within 30 days after your funded project, download and complete the fillable Project Completion Report Form here. Email to board@glassellparknc.org your Project Completion Report Form, promotional materials,  proof of expense, and other related documents so that your NPG process can be completed. A purchase order, quote, and online shopping cart printout are not considered proof of expense.

The Brown Act requires items to be on the agenda for discussion. If your NPG is not on a committee meeting or board meeting agenda, it cannot be discussed. If you need assistance or if any of the links above do not work, please email grantsfunding@glassellparknc.org for additional support.
