David Calvo
Committed to improving the human experience, David is a person-centered leader with 25+ years of predominantly serving minority student populations. Entering public education as a teacher’s assistant, he has since led four school campuses and collaborated with countless schools and education stakeholders at school districts nationwide, state and federal agencies, and education institutions abroad. He has also extensively volunteered in the government, public health, nonprofit, and education sectors. David possesses a doctoral degree in global education from University of Southern California, a master's degree in educational leadership from Nova Southeastern University, and a bachelor's degree in public administration from Florida International University. He has served in many roles at the GPNC and is currently the recorder for the Grants and Funding Committee.
