Paul McDermott

A California native since 1950, Paul has resided at his present address in Glassell Park for 36 years. He is a retired educator, having taught History and Latin at Venice High and classical mythology at CSUN.
 

Paul holds advanced degrees from UC Berkeley and UCLA in Ancient History and Mediterranean Archaeology and Latin. He is interested in foreign affairs and has traveled widely internationally.
 

He serves on the board of the Uptown Gay and Lesbian Alliance and is the chair of its scholarship committee. Paul currently serves as an At Large representative on the Glassell Park Neighborhood Council and is a member of the Education Committee.
